The Collective Force is one of New Zealand’s top photography management agencies, representing and marketing talents such as Toaki Okano, Charles Howells and Mara Sommer; both locally and internationally.
We were given an open brief to create a unique and distinctive identity for The Collective Force. We were compelled to produce for them a suite of collateral that would let the work of the photographers shine, while still effectively communicating their professional, solution-based ethos.
In the identity we have developed, the logo itself stands as a strong, sans serif statement for the company. Through dissection of the same sans we have created a graphic treatment that explores a theme of coalescence, with disjointed typographic elements being manipulated and assembled to create a cohesive, meaningful entity. This was finally executed using a combination of die cutting and blind embossing, literally allowing the photographers work to show through.
