Moving away from the the illustration-based, more literal interpretations of previous campaigns, for the 2012 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards Fuman created a glamorous “high fashion” print aesthetic of still imagery. Highly conceptual and abstract in it’s interpretation, each image used the human body as a landscape to portray the individual categories. The use of innovative, new technology such as 3D Mapping and motion graphics (both relatively under-utilised at that time) resulted in a compelling enterprise of visual depth that provided a refreshingly different resolution for this project.
